Our Decking Installation Process

1: Home Consultation & Assessment
The initial stage is to come and visit your premises and assess your requirements. We will give you advice on suitable choices of decking and the optimal locations for your site. If you would like it customised to your plans, we will work closely with you to get it exactly to plan.
2: Planning & Preparation
When we have worked out what type of decking you want to be installed and where you want it situated, we can begin planning and prepare for the installation. In this stage, we will take all the measurements and order all the required materials. We will then compress any loose soil and lay weed control fabric to stop unwanted greenery from coming through. Once this stage is complete we can move on.
3: Installing the Frame, Joists & Decking
We start off by building a box frame for the deck and placing concrete slabs around all corners and centre points for the joists. We then install the joints into the frame and nail them in through the sides to tighten the structure. We then make any adjustments the height if necessary, before installing the decking.
4: Final Checks
Once the decking is laid we prepare for the final checks. We make sure everything is level and securely attached. If we find anything missing or that needs attention it will be corrected at this stage until your decking is perfect.
